The NOC for Germany represents and promotes the Olympic Movement in the Federal Republic of Germany. In particular fields it therefore requests the assistance of the German Olympic Society (DOG). As information medium the publication "Olympisches Feuer" (Olympic Flame) - published in common with the DOG - and the standard works of the NOC on the Olympic Games - published in common with the German Sports Aid Foundation - have earned an excellent reputation.


Within the scope of its possibilities the NOC promotes also other publications on the Olympic Movement, among them also those of the Carl-Diem-Institute in Cologne. Since 1982 the NOC has extended its public relations work by means of the so-called NOK-Report (NOC Report) which is published monthly.
